Woodfield Southpark

Wayne Brothers completed the site work for the new 8-story apartment building in the South Park area of Charlotte, NC. The new apartment building sits on top of a 3-level below grade parking deck, include a pool deck on Level 7, and has 280 apartment units. The Woodfield project is a turnkey site project that consisted of clearing, site demo, erosion control, mass grading, under drainage, storm detention and piping system, both modular block and gabion basket retaining walls as well as soil nailing, site utilities and roadwork. WBI’s Civil & Infrastructure group hauled out over 40,000 cys of dirt and excavating to over 40 feet below street level. Once the building was in place, WBI returned to the site to complete the backfill, site utilities and hardscape.
