Scope of Work
This multi-phase installation for TS Conductor's new greenfield manufacturing facility was executed across multiple mobilizations covering utility piping, conforming and encapsulation machine installation, and four-cage strander/side loader equipment offloading. Our Millwright team led the equipment installation, offloading and setting 38 pieces of equipment ranging from 1,200 to 35,000 lbs. Our piping crew delivered the utility piping scope, and our concrete team poured two pads and grouted all strander cages. Using our own 40/60 versa lift to set equipment into position, crews leveled and aligned every piece within +/-1mm, of tolerance.
Unique Challenges
All major equipment was shipped in from overseas, so our team coordinated deliveries directly with the port to control when it arrived. From there, we sequenced installation against the building's progress because the facility was still under active construction. The machines landed as areas became ready. This kept crews productive and avoided the double handling and laydown costs of staging everything up front. Throughout, we worked closely with the client's project team to deliver within a constrained budget.
