Scope of Work
Wayne Brothers' Civil group completed sitework for the Duke Energy Operations Center, a 39-acre project. Our scope included installation of storm, sanitary sewer, and water utilities, along with curb and gutter, asphalt paving, and a large gravel laydown yard. The work required close sequencing across multiple civil disciplines to keep the site moving and avoid conflicts between crews.
Unique Challenges
A regional RCP pipe shortage threatened to stall utility installation mid-project. Our team restructured pipe runs around available material and leaned on established vendor relationships to keep pipe flowing to the site. We completed the project on schedule despite the supply chain disruption.
