Scope of Work
Brought on through a client referral, Wayne Brothers' Industrial Concrete, Millwright, and Piping teams were awarded a multi-scope installation project inside an active production facility. Our scope included installing new CRE-550 extrusion lines and draw lines, with individual pieces of equipment weighing in excess of 60,000 lbs, alongside full process piping. Our Concrete team poured the machine foundations and utility trenches required to support the new equipment. The new lines were installed directly into the same production hall as the client's existing operating equipment.
Unique Challenges
The equipment had to go in without stopping the client's ongoing production, which was actively doubling in size for the duration of the project. Working alongside live operations, our teams sequenced foundation work, piping, and equipment installation to stay clear of active lines while the client scaled up around us. That coordination let the client hit their expansion timeline without a single disruption to output.
