Scope of Work
Wayne Brothers’ Geostructural Solutions group designed and installed a ground improvement system for the Windsor Run project, a new retirement community. Rigid inclusions were selected to address unexpected poor soil conditions with high organic content, providing a value-engineered alternative to a mass undercut. In addition, our Sitework + Utilities team completed sitework for two separate buildings, including earthwork, utilities, paving, and hardscapes.
Unique Challenges
During site evaluation, poor soils with high organic content threatened the schedule and budget. Our team developed a rigid inclusion solution that replaced the need for costly mass excavation. For the civil scope, large volumes of on-site cut, export, and detailed sitework required precise coordination. Close collaboration between our Geostructural and Civil & Infrastructure teams ensured the project stayed on track, delivering a cost-effective solution while avoiding major delays.
