Scope of Work
Operating under a shutdown schedule, Wayne Brothers offloaded, uncrated, and installed equipment from domestic and foreign shipments. We performed equipment rigging, piping, and electrical services. The client needed their winding system upgraded, and an existing line required retrofitting.
Unique Challenges
Before we could install the equipment, the Wayne Brothers team made a discovery: an unknown pit. Within 24 hours, we modified the foundation to make way for installation.
Our team had to maneuver through a congested working environment, filled with other operational equipment and processes. The equipment we offloaded and installed weighed between 12,000 and 30,000 pounds — not light lifting by any means. Once we got it in place, our millwrights optically aligned and leveled it.
