Scope of Work
Wayne Brothers completed the concrete scope for Atrium Health Ballpark, a $52 million single-A stadium built as part of a larger downtown revitalization effort in Kannapolis, NC. Our work included slab-on-metal deck, stadium risers, cast-in-place walls, and site paving. This modern sports and entertainment venue was later named the best ballpark in minor league baseball in the Low-A classification.
Unique Challenges
This project was a full-circle moment for us. We built the original Kannapolis stadium back in 1995—something our President & CEO, Keith Wayne, strongly believed in even when it wasn’t a popular move. He knew it would spark something bigger for the community.
