Scope of Work

Wayne Brothers completed sitework + utilities on this 54-acre project under a tight schedule, ensuring the school could open on time for the academic year. The scope included full site development—clearing, demolition, rock blasting, mass excavation and fill, grading, paving, segmented retaining walls, utilities (public and private), erosion control, and installation of four underground detention systems (UGDS).

Unique Challenges

Each UGDS required careful logistics planning, including truck counts, sequencing, and crane coordination. Our field crew conducted daily After Action Reports to capture lessons learned, applying insights in real-time to improve performance and shave four days off the schedule. Despite post-COVID material shortages, we adapted by sourcing approved stormwater material substitutions to stay on track.
