Sugar Creek Multipurpose Field

Wayne Brothers’ Civil & Infrastructure Group was the Prime Contractor for the Sugar Creek multi-purpose field in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The project was unique in the sense there were over 20,000 additional cubic yards of dirt than originally expected that had been stockpiled on the site. Our in house survey and project team were able to work with the client/owner to topo the site and then build a GPS model that could be utilized to balance the site to ensure proper drainage and to meet project specifications. This proactive approach to grading not only helps WBI to meet project goals and budgets, it also ensures that our client is constantly aware of the project’s progress.
