Atrium Health Ballpark is a $52 million single-A stadium that was built to be a sports and entertainment venue. This ballpark was part of the revitalization project to the historic downtown of Kannapolis. The ballpark was named the best ballpark in minor league baseball in the Low-A classification. .
In 1995, we built the first stadium and now decades later we had the opportunity to build the second stadium. Keith, WB President/CEO, fully supported the controversial first ballpark knowing it would be a catalyst for the community and he no doubt wanted to be involved in the second stadium.
We completed the concrete scope of work for the ballpark which included slab-on-metal deck, stadium risers, cast-in-place walls, and paving.
