These employees are being recognized by a coworker for going above and beyond.
Drew Allen, Ivan Herrara and Bob McMahand for their perseverance in getting the concrete work done at our project. They worked through 100 degree days and then heavy downpours during the course of their work. They stuck with it, often having to spend many hours dewatering and demucking in the mornings before their actual production work could start. In the end, they produced a very good product that the client was very happy with. – Steve Platia
Alan Hill and Kevin Morris worked really well with Wayne Reed to make sure that his truck was loaded properly, and the weight was distributed, so he could make it through the scale houses without getting stopped. They had move material several times. The next morning at 6 am before Wayne left he pulled the truck to flat ground to check the weight again and had to move some more material around. Alan jumped in and helped make sure that everything was good to go. Thank you Alan and Kevin taking care of your customer! – Jason Mauney
Gregg Edwards did an excellent job in his pre-lift briefing with the millwright crew when preparing to erect the corn silos at Frito Charlotte. Greg was very thorough, and went through every detail of the critical lift, ensuring each team member knew the overall lift plan as well as their assigned parts. The lifts were successful with no incidents. – Steve Platia

I was cleaning mud out of my tracks on the 336 while Jeff Ingle and Nicky Settlemyer were busy doing repairs. They said they were just about wrapped up, and next thing I know, Jeffs got a sharpshooter and both jumped right in without me even asking. After an hour straight of hacking away mud, those two showed up like angels and brought some light to the end of the tunnel! I truly couldn’t keep learning and growing out here without them. Jeff and Nicky keep us alive in the field! I’m so very, very thankful for them both. – Jade Kendrick
David Whitehead and I were in St. George, SC, heading back from lunch, when we noticed Adam Niegocki and a WBI truck pulled over alongside another vehicle. We called to check on him and learned he had stopped to help an elderly man who had run out of gas. Adam chose to spend his entire break helping someone in need. – Jake Potter
Alejandro Barco and his crew exemplified the fundamental behavior “Run Toward the Challenge” while working on a project at the office. Alejandro positively responded to numerous requests for assistance by me and others. Even though outside of their normal responsibilities, Alejandro and his crew stepped in to fill gaps and conquer challenges as they were presented. This allowed the project to stay on track. This group has a can do attitude and always willing to pitch in to get things done. Alejandro and his crew are a pleasure to work with. – Steve Platia
Livan Rodriguez and William Lester continue to be huge assets on their project. While talking with our client yesterday, they made a lighthearted comment: “I don’t think we would be able to build this project without Wayne Brothers here.” Hearing that was music to my ears, as it confirms we’re adding real value and that it’s being recognized by others on the job. That comment stemmed from the team stepping up to take on additional miscellaneous plumbing, waterproofing, and air barrier tasks to help other trades work through recent challenges. This has required a great deal of coordination and effort outside our typical scope, and Livan and William have been flexible, willing, and ready to tackle whatever has been asked of them—all while continuing to execute our base scope. Great job, guys, on taking this in stride and putting in the extra effort to make it happen! – Joe Rebrovich

With high expectations on this project, delivering high-precision, smooth, and level slab placements has played a key role in building the client’s confidence in Wayne Brothers. – Joe Rebrovich
