Yes! Interning at Wayne Brothers is a great way to show us what you’ve got. Research also shows that students with internship experience receive more job offers and higher starting salaries than their peers.

What do you do in a construction internship?
Internship activities vary from company to company. We place each intern in their area of interest. Everyone in our internship program will work alongside experts in their field of study and complete tasks relevant to that role.

How much do most internships pay?
Since you’re contributing to our work, we believe you deserve competitive compensation. As of March 2025, our interns earn $22+ per hour over the course of the semester. Interns average 40+ hours a week. Please note that these numbers vary by position and may change over time. Contact our team for up-to-date information.

What is the difference between an internship and project work?
Our internships are short-term learning opportunities specifically designed to meet the needs of students and recent graduates. They conclude at the end of the semester, not the end of the project. Compensation and experience levels differ between these two categories of work.
