Scope of Work
Wayne Brothers' Concrete team was awarded a $42M contract for a multi-building data center campus. Our scope covered all structural concrete across each building, including shallow foundations, grade beams, slabs on grade, large electrical yard pads, and electrical trestles, along with site paving. Work was repeated across multiple structures, requiring consistent execution.
Unique Challenges
The sloped paving under the cooling towers and trestles couldn't be built as drawn. Multiple design changes had been made over the course of the project but never reconciled in the civil drawings, leaving the slopes unworkable. Our team stepped in and took ownership of the redesign, using our model and elevations taken directly from the existing foundations to determine what the paving needed to be.
