These employees are being recognized by a coworker for going above and beyond.
Jason Garrett exceptional job rigging and replacing stacks on the roof of a project. Giving audible signals to the crane, rigging the old stacks, and going the extra mile to do it right the first time safely and efficiently. The client was impressed with Jason and the WB crew and wants us to do more work with them in the future. Great job! – Dillion Mills
Jacob Whiteside I would like to recognize Jacob for practicing, “Respect all persons and tasks as equal in value to our team” Jacob always treats everyone with respect and never undervalues your needs or tasks we are working on! Thank you Jacob! – Bradley Chandler

Santee Cooper Team– I want to take a moment to give a big shout out to the entire crew. Every day I see the hard work, dedication, and pride that each person brings to the site. It does not go unnoticed. What stands out the most is how everyone continues to represent the Wayne Brothers core values through your work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to getting the job done the right way. Just as important, you continue to work together as a team, supporting one another and stepping up wherever needed. I couldn’t pick just one person to recognize because it truly takes every one of you. The success we have out here is the result of everyone pulling in the same direction and working together as a crew. I’m proud to be part of this team and appreciate the work each of you does to keep things moving safely and efficiently. – David Love
Melissa Mounts, Brad Mounts , and the entire logistics team– They consistently manage a high volume of last-minute requests—often daily—including many out-of-town needs and hard to source equipment not available in the WBI fleet. In the industrial group, our shutdown work requires around the clock equipment support and reliable on call service, and the logistics team ensures we have what we need.
Recently, during a project for Corning in Wilmington, NC, the team quickly secured and delivered electric, and battery powered equipment required for the controlled environment. This included mini excavators and concrete buggies sourced from multiple rental vendors across the region, all without interruption to the schedule. They also frequently support us by delivering materials from PCS and other suppliers. Thank you for all you do at 4:50 MP- Bob McMahand
Tommie Cantry & the Geostructural Crew– I recently had the opportunity to take my pre-apprenticeship students to observe the Geo Group in action at a job site in the Kannapolis area, and I was genuinely impressed. The team demonstrated an exceptional ability to synchronize their movements – everything was seamless, fluid, and highly organized. Each individual clearly understood their role and executed it with precision and professionalism. That level of coordination is no accident; it reflects strong teamwork, communication, and preparation. A special acknowledgment goes to Tommie for his outstanding leadership. He has guided the team effectively while ensuring that safety remains a top priority every step of the way. Outstanding job! – Amanda Phillips
Wiley Geren consistently brings in little treats for everyone in the office. It’s a kind gesture that many of us get to enjoy (those mini muffins are the best!) – Ashley Huscio
