Scope of Work
Wayne Brothers’ Geostructural team installed augercast piles, drilled piers, and pile and lagging systems for this large Southeast Data Center. The client brought us in early, looking for guidance on deep foundation design and construction methods. Our engineers and construction experts recommended an approach that not only met the foundation requirements but also included ground improvement across a larger portion of the site. This early involvement helped the client save both time and cost.
Unique Challenges
The project schedule was driven by major equipment deliveries, which meant certain foundation areas had to be completed ahead of the overall timeline. To meet these milestones, we deployed multiple crews and coordinated daily with other trades to keep the project moving forward. Concrete availability was another challenge in this region, but through our established supplier relationships, we secured the delivery of 5,000 CY of concrete without delay. By anticipating these issues early and planning with the client, we helped minimize risk and keep critical milestones on track.
