Wayne Brothers has just been informed that we will be performing the site work and concrete construction for the new BB&T Charlotte Knights Stadium in Uptown Charlotte! We are very excited to be working with Barton Malow and Rodgers Builders on another great project! The Knights will be moving from their current stadium in Fort Mill, SC, to Charlotte, and they plan to begin playing baseball in their new stadium starting April 2014. WBI has already completed work on multiple sporting complexes including the Kannapolis Intimidators Ballpark, the Hickory Crawdads Ballpark, the Greensboro Bats Ballpark, and we are currently working on UNC Charlotte’s 49ers Football Stadium. Great job, Jim Elder, Bobby Phillips, and Isaiah Wayne who worked tirelessly to secure this amazing project for WBI. We are scheduled to start construction mid-September, so stay tuned for more updates!
