Harbor Freight Distribution Center in Dillon, SC was a logistically challenging project where the scope of work involved 12” of asphalt demo, 9” of additional excavation, replacement of the reclaimed asphalt integrated with soil cement, and pouring of a 9” new concrete slab, joint sealing, and restriping. The challenge of this 260,000 SF project was that it was at an existing operational facility, only six loading dock doors could be closed at a time, and all other truck routes needed to remain in operation; this required a strong preliminary logistics plan and constant coordination with the client. .
