These employees are being recognized by a coworker for going above and beyond.
I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible work done by our team of dozer operators on the Nucor project (Ryan Baker, Jason Wills, Jeff Dietrich, Jojo Wakefield) . Your dedication, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond is much appreciated. Your constant movement to assist others, even when it means leaving your assigned tasks to help out elsewhere, showcases the true spirit of teamwork and collaboration. Your selflessness and helpful spirit are exemplary, and they contribute immensely to the success of our project. It’s not just about completing tasks but about the manner in which you do it—with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to support your fellow team members. – Rob Goins
I want to give a shoutout to Kris Morgan for his amazing dedication to planning our projects. He took the initiative to learn Microsoft Project on his own and built a fantastic project schedule. This shows how committed he is to the idea that planning is key to success. – Josh Byers
Ivan Herrera took the time to draw out, a full size rendition of a corner detail of a wall. His team was made up of a few of our newer team members in the Industrial Concrete Division, and Ivan wanted to make sure they clearly understood how the bars intersected and interacted with each other, as this detail was a change, and these employees were tasked with bending these new bars, due to the schedule. Ivan cleary and literally illustrated the Show Me Expectations to his crew. – Gary Akers
Michael Archer has bounced between multiple projects over the past few months and although each situation hasn’t always been ideal, he approaches each project with a positive attitude and dives headfirst into helping with whatever is needed from him. I have asked Zane Lail to be the champion of our SOP’s for the Project Engineering group. I knew that Zane had been working to keep these up while maintaining a very heavy workload with the Project Engineering duties he and his staff have. I am so proud to say that both Victor Callender and Zane have went above and beyond putting together a large Project Engineer Manual. I am so thankful to have both of these guys leading our project engineering groups for Civil and Concrete. Keep up the awesome work and thank you both! – Isaiah Wayne
I saw Kyle Kearney walk out to his car during lunch and on the way, he saw a piece of trash on our front walk. He picked it up and took it with him. This small act is what WB is all about. Nothing is below any of us and we all have the opportunity to improve WB’s image every single day. – Jim Rhodes
A BIG Thank you to Patrick Croghan for all the diligence in maintaining the dozens of Executed and Revised PO’s on the Nucor Sitework project! Your effort was much appreciated during our WB Audit! – Lisa Webster
We had BuildWitt come to Swiftwater to see the work we do and Zane Lail took the time out of his day to answer questions and show them multiple BIM models. He went above and beyond. – Ashley Huscio
Paul Dolinsky and crew have daily discussions on tasks at hand and risks to be expected. Often, the crew is asked to contribute to the PTP, ask questions, and explain to others how to best manage risk. The Pearl Culvert is a highly detailed project with a lot of moving parts and pieces. Paul is able to dissect work goals into smaller, attainable portions. The crew is phenomenal in work ethic and always has a smile on their face – that starts from the top! Good job Paul! – Sean McGowan
I was managing a project that was going very well. I need to give credit to the office team and two particular people on the job. I have worked with Julian Robles and Cesar Cervantes Espinosa numerous times, and I always appreciate their efforts. From being early to the job site, to never complaining about the given task they are a breeze to work with. Even when jobs are less than ideal they show up to assist me with my tasks. These two exemplary employees deserve much recognition. – Gregory Jouben
Skylor Africa-Barnes has been a model employee in his time here at Wayne Brothers. Since recently being promoted to Assistant Foreman in April, Skylor has displayed exceptional allegiance to our core value of being “Responsible and Accountable”. He has done this in many ways, not the least of which being the first supervisor to send daily morning meeting discussions and sign-in sheets for the whole week. He has also done a great job getting the crew started on one of our most high profile jobs in the low country with minimal supervision. In doing these things, Skylor has also personified our fundamental behavior by effectively “Honoring Commitments” to supervision, the client, our company and our culture. Skylor has already been awarded a “7>100” t-shirt for similar actions, and will now be praised at a morning meeting by a member of senior supervision and awarded with a 7>100 hard hat sticker. Please help us thank Skylor for a job well done and for honoring his commitment to our team. – Brent Sullivan
