John Bomar mentioned during the morning safety meeting that he observed two individuals on-site wearing suits the prior day not wearing required PPE. John had a conversation with both individuals reminding them of the PPE policy. It was brought to the attention of the GC superintendent. The GC stated that both individuals were client reps, and they both mentioned that an employee on-site reminded them of the PPE policy and that he should be recognized. John went outside his comfort zone to remind them of the PPE policy. Often, employees don’t feel comfortable approaching individuals who work for another company after observing someone who is committing an unsafe act or working in or around an unsafe condition, however John stepped up to the plate and went above and beyond the call of duty. John is the definition of a true leader, and he continuously shows it every day. He doesn’t just take responsibility for his own safety, but others as well. – Christopher Gaskins

Ever since Brad Chandler has showed up the morale and confidence in the group has gone up, its fun to come to work. Things started out rocky, but once we all got on the same page people started opening up with one another and you can tell it was a better place to work. We’ve had employees get sent to other crews that have asked to come back because of how well this crew gets along. Bradley is a major factor in that, he has helped bring our crew together and helped a lot of our employees out here realize what a good leader is. – Cody Waterfield
