Wayne Brothers Companies has provided concrete construction services to many leading companies throughout Virginia. Of special significance is the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State College’s Center for the Arts, a 150,000 SF campus centerpiece that was built in reverse order. As our first project using BIM and 3D modeling, we discovered how important this technology is and we have since implemented 3D BIM modeling for all projects. For this project, Wayne Brothers was presented with the Virginia Chapter 2013 ACI Commonwealth award for Excellence in Concrete Construction.
