SITEWORK EXPANDING TO LOW COUNTRY

By Jim Rhodes, Senior Vice President Civil & Infrastructure

Our Sitework Division now has boots on the ground in the Low Country. Last month, we broke ground on our new Regional Operations Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.  This state-of-the-art facility marks a significant milestone, enabling us to enhance our operational capacity within the Low Country and extend our coverage across the Southeast. Conveniently situated off I-95 between Charleston and Savannah, it offers strategic accessibility.

For several years, our Geostructural Division has been active across the Southeast as well as involved in the Low Country market, specializing in deep foundations, ground improvements, and soil retention projects. Now, with the addition of our Sitework Division, we are poised to provide comprehensive services to clients.

From the Walterboro facility, we will offer turnkey sitework services from Georgetown, South Carolina down to Savannah, Georgia and over to Orangeburg, South Carolina. Our long-term vision includes further sitework resource development along the 26 corridor, connecting our headquarters in Davidson, North Carolina, to Walterboro, South Carolina, allowing us to better serve our clients’ needs from the Midlands to the Low Country.

We have been, and will continue to, meet the demands of our valued clients in the Low Country. We’re excited to take this tangible step into the Low Country and look forward to growing our team and strengthening our partnerships.
