Congratulations! The Carolinas Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., (ABC) awarded Wayne Brothers the “Excellence in Construction” Eagle Award for our work on the Sierra Nevada Brewery project. The project was also a finalist for Specialty Contractor Project of the Year.
The annual ABC of the Carolinas Excellence in Construction Awards honors the most outstanding construction projects and contractors from the previous year. These companies are awarded based on their innovation and dedication to safety, as well as the diversity of their construction work. A panel of industry experts judge the entries.
“This was a phenomenal project that required great attention to detail in every aspect of concrete construction,” said Shannon Sapp, Business Development Manager. “Sierra Nevada and Modern Builders demanded high quality in everything from building concrete, to paving, to even a bridge. Our team did a great job in delivering a world class facility.”
Throughout the project, Wayne Brothers embraced the values that ABC requires using its own innovative WBIM program, overcoming unique obstacles, working safely, and delivering a quality process. Working under the company motto of “Safely Exceeding Expectations”, the Wayne Brothers team focus on meeting the customer’s needs, earned them the Excellence in Construction Eagle Award.
Now complete, the 190-acre Sierra Nevada Brewery brews beer and provides a destination attraction for all to experience. Guests can enjoy guided brewery tours, an on-site restaurant, entertainment in the amphitheater and a gift shop.
